OUR WRITE UP
OK THIS VERY SWEET BOY IS WAY WAY OVERWEIGHT!!!! HE NEEDS TO LOSE AT LEAST 30 LBS. HE WADDLES AND WE HAVE STARTED TO PUT HIM ON A WEIGHT WATCHERS DIET PLAN ALONG WITH A RICHARD SIMMONS EXERCISE PLAN. HE IS JUST A LOVE BUG THAT MOVES AT A VERY SLOW SLOW PACE RIGHT NOW. I AM SURE HE WILL HAVE MORE ENERGY ONCE SOME OF THAT WEIGHT IS GONE.
UPDATE…HE IS DOING GREAT. HE LOVES THE WINTER WEATHER…THE HUSKY IN HIM. HE HAS LOST ABOUT 10 LBS. HE LOVES TO PLAY WITH BALLS AND WILL EVEN FETCH AND RETRIEVE. HE IS JUST A WONDERFUL DOG.

THIS FEE IS VITAL TO THE SUCCESS OF OUR PRORAM. IT DOES NOT ONLY COVER THE FEES OF THE CANINE GEM THAT YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN BUT ALSO HELPS DEFRAY THE COSTS OF OTHER CANINE GEMS WHERE THEIR FEES EXCEED THEIR PROGRAM FEE AS WE TAKE IN ALL BREEDS, AGES, AND SPECIAL NEEDS.
• What’s included(THIS CAN CHANGE DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES):
o vetting including vaccines and deworming
o boarding fees including food(on average $10/day per canine)
o health certificate issued by a licensed Veterinarian
o transportation fee from SC/NC/GA to Vermont
OUR PROCESS FOR ADOPTING:
• go to our website, www.acaninegem.com and fill out our application
• we do adoptions 7 days a week by appointment
• we try to respond to submitted applications within 4 business hours of receiving it
• we do same day adoptions… if you are approved to come and meet a dog, you are approved to adopt
• we do not hold dogs
• all of our dogs posted are at our facility in Vermont (occasionally we will have a dog in foster care in Vermont)
• our postings are updated daily…if the posting is visible the dog is available
• we do adopt to Canadians
• we do adopt to families that do not reside in Vermont
• our fees our nonnegotiable and are in US dollars
• we do not transport dogs to adopters
