Stella

This is a very sad story…at age 13 poor Stella was dumped at a high kill shelter because her owner said that she was old and they did not want her anymore…right before Christmas. In the 27 years of doing rescue, I just cannot understand how any human could do this to a dog, especially as lovable as this one. She is petrified with dogs barking although we are pretty sure she has lost most of her hearing. She is calm, so endearing and the perfect Canine Gem. She is in Vermont now and we are wanting her to go to a home ASAP.
